Characters/Pairings/Moresomes: abemiha. m-mainly abemiha.... lately...... swars trio would be awesome, also (i was going to specify rey/finn/poe but original trio qualifies too honestly, they're all just. great) i'm a huge huge gen/found family/friendship fiend, which applies to like. almost every character in everything, so? ships are hard to choose (i'm v v easy to please, i promise) OH HEY ALSO Nora Valkyrie, queen of my heart. oh man and a ton of ME/Dragon Age characters, I can expand if desired.
Likes: AUs! found family! enemies > friends > lovers! sci-fi and solarpunk! or space opera. ummMmm healthy relationships... trains... dance and music.... plants... oh and i die every single time for any kind of domestic fluff. just end me
Dislikes: mostly just avoid anything that's not explicitly consentual, and significant age differences.

“What do you think?” Remus asked. His hands were curled around a mug of tea to keep them steady as he watched Sirius take in the apartment. Sirius came from a grand, old family and when he’d left them, he’d moved in with James Potter whose family was just as wealthy. The small apartment that Remus inhabited couldn’t be a patch on what Sirius was used to.
The dingy sofa and armchairs were worn through in patches, threads a colorless sheen where they needed to be patched. Remus had compensated for that by overstuffing the pillows and leaving them on the sofa and armchairs to make them more comfortable. The fireplace smoked but the grate was clean of soot and the poker and billows were close to hand. The walls had no wallpaper, only whitewash, but Remus had applied a fresh coat last week and with the windows thrown wide open, it no longer smelled as chemical.
It wasn’t good enough for Sirius, Remus was miserably aware. Even the plant pots lined up on the windowsill to take in what little sunlight there was seemed to droop and wither. He grew his own herbs but it had been cold lately and he’d stripped his basil plant nearly bare the other night to make a pesto. He should have left the leaves on – he would’ve, had he known that Sirius would suddenly need to move in with him after the Potters went into hiding. He would’ve dusted the ceiling too! He was sure that was a spider-web in a corner and--
So lost was he in his own thoughts that the sound of Sirius’ voice rudely jolted him out of his reverie.
“It’s wonderful, Moony,” Sirius said with absolute sincerity. He strolled over to the fireplace and its thick pile of rugs, flopping down and looking about with open admiration. “It’s so – you.”
Used up and second hand? Remus didn’t dare to ask, but some question must have been obvious on his face for Sirius grinned.
“What, were you thinking I’d ask about where are your House Elves and marble baths? I know you, Moony. This place with all its books, with its plants and newspaper lampshades and the smell of tea and chocolate – it’s you, all of it.” He sniffed luxuriously, then closed his eyes happily. “Walking in here’s like being wrapped up in one big hug.”
Remus raised a hand to his chest and wondered if it was possible for a heart to break from happiness.
