My favorite types of stories are character studies, especially if they're couched in slice-of-life/fluff. I love things that extrapolate off of the base canon, things that really dig into a character's psyche and thought processes, and any and all character interactions. I'm weak to characters taking care of each other and long distance relationships. I also love rivalry dynamics, triangulation of desire, and emotional tension, and handler/genius-who-needs-to-be-handled ships are my ultimate kryptonite.

For art, I love pieces that capture quiet moments, breathing spaces in-between the action, lazy mornings or wind-downs after practice; on the totally opposite end of the spectrum I love art that has a lot of motion or unusual color palettes, things that make me stop and look at them (but my eyes become strained easily, so please be kind).

I'm actually really in the mood for AUs right now, too! Pick any you like, except coffeeshop, pirate, or pacific rim AUs. A Pokemon AU, a post-apocalyptic AU without zombies, a Natsume Yuujinchou AU, or an art (dance, music, writing, illustration, whatever) AU would be especially interesting to me.

I like all ratings (G to NC-17). You can throw any gender/sexuality/etc. headcanons you want at me and I'll probably eat it up (however, please proceed with respect about what you know, and I'd prefer if it wasn't the focus of the piece). I like established relationship pieces as much as get-together ones. I am a hardcore multishipper so feel free to create whatever ships/side pairings you want, really.

Here's my kinks list if you're thinking of creating something with a higher rating (I'm over eighteen).

Please avoid these topics:
  • Over the top angst. Hurt/comfort is one of my favorite things; being pointlessly cruel to characters to evoke reader feels is not.
  • Character death, gory violence, zombies/werewolves/vampires, cancer, abuse, suicide, genderswaps, and pregnancy/raising children plots.
  • Medical/anatomical inaccuracy will throw me out of a piece, so please do your research if you write illness or injury.
  • I'm picky about first- and second- person POV; if you're confident then go for it, but third-person POV is probably your safest bet.
  • If I listed a ship above, that probably means I really like it! Therefore while you're more than free to not write any of the ships listed above, please don't actively break or be cruel to them either: please no stuff like "they had a horrific breakup and now can't even look at each other" or whatever.

Anything else:

REGARDING HAIKYUU: Suga and Bokuto are my favorite characters! With that said, I really don't agree with "Mama Suga" fanon. There's so much more to Suga than his maternal aspects, and besides, it's not very motherly to go around punching people. As long as your piece doesn't dwell on it then we'll probably be fine.

REGARDING POKEMON: Green Oak is my favorite character in the entire world and Red/Green is the truest otp of my heart. Having them show up even in one-sentence cameos is likely to kill me with happiness ♥. Also, a tiny Morty & Kris prompt: Kris is a ghost and Morty is the only one who can see her; discuss.

Thank you so much for considering creating something for me, and I hope you have a lovely valentine's day ♥! I'm really looking forward to whatever you cook up.

Reminder that NOTES are welcome too - just a nice little comment (either plain, or you can even type it up on a nice little graphic/image etc.) for the recipient.

(Comments are going to screened until the reveal on Feb 14. Lockers will be open until the end of Feb.)

Hi, Clover! So you know me and the fact that fluff isn't exactly my strong point but I gave it a whirl for soft slice of life stuff/caretaking. Uh. I hope you like it. I am definitely a human.

The damp strands of hair clung to his fingers as Daichi gently brought the comb through them. They parted for the steel teeth of the comb, then fell flat back against Suga’s head. Under the wet hair, the heat from Suga’s scalp was faintly discernible to Daichi’s fingertips. Stroke after stroke, Daichi carefully smoothed Suga’s hair into place as his lover reclined against him in a warm bundle of sleepy, soap-scented skin and flesh.

The bath products that Suga used had changed at university. In high school, he’d smelled of flax and cotton, of clean sheets. Now, it was something softer – not quite floral but familiar all the same. Daichi bent his head and inhaled surreptitiously, not wanting to disturb his napping boyfriend.

A moment later, laughter trembled through Suga as he opened sleepy eyes to peer up at Daichi curiously.

“Did you just sniff me?” He asked, staying contentedly stretched out over the bed with his head in Daichi’s lap.

Daichi smiled down sheepishly at him, lips quirking guiltily upwards. “I was trying to figure out what you smelled like.”

“Vanilla sugar,” Suga supplied, answering Daichi’s smile with a softly amused curve of his own lips. “I used to put it in your coffee whenever you slept over.”

“So that’s why coffee never tastes as good when I make it myself,” Daichi quipped. He leaned down a little more until he could dust a kiss over Suga’s lips. “Go back to sleep. Your hair’s not dry yet.”

“I’ll wake up when you put the hairdryer on anyway,” Suga disagreed. The soft, sleepy haze of his eyes coupled with his smile brought a blush to Daichi’s cheeks; something about Suga looking at him as if Daichi had stepped straight out of Suga’s dreams was too much for Daichi to deal with. Suga was the one who knew people the best, who could read them and what they wanted, so if Suga thought Daichi was worth loving like that…

“I turned off the air conditioner and put the fan on instead,” Daichi said hurriedly, falling back to the realm he knew better. Practicality was his strong suit and taking care of Suga was not a burden but a blessing. “No air conditioner. You can just fall asleep—“

Suga opened his mouth to argue and Daichi quickly put a finger over it, asking Suga to just let him finish.

“And in the morning, I’ll comb out the knots you get when you fall asleep with wet hair.”

Suga’s lips pursed up and he kissed Daichi’s finger.

Daichi didn’t let himself smile until Suga’s eyes were closed. If he’d looked in a mirror then, he might have been surprised to see how closely his expression mirrored Suga’s.
