Favourtie Films/TV Shows: httyd, most of the pixar lineup and a good chunk of dreamworks' (animation amiright), miyazaki, the iron giant..... pacific rim, star trek, btvs was like my entire childhood, i could go on for years here.

Tell us a story! i used to do karate and there was a tournament held twice a year, in Oct and March, and on the one year i went that it fell on my bday i competed in forms and that was the only time i ever won a first place trophy out of the 6 or so years i competed. that was in the year 2000 so it was a special shiny trophy too, with holographic '2000's on the front of it. i hit my peak a little early i think

Tell us three things about yourself that most people don't know:
1. hm. uh, i guess the fact i took karate for like 10 years kinda falls in that category (i still suck at self defense and remember very little, i mostly enjoyed learning the forms and the workout).
2. i hate lima beans with every fiber of my being.
3. my third grade teacher called me kazie, which was short for my nickname, Kazie and the Sunshine Band. (he nicknamed every kid in his class, he was such a cool guy. one of my fav teachers ever, to this day. my elementary classmates called me kazie up through highschool, tho that was partly cause there were at least eight katies in our year) oh yeah my given name is katie. that's not a secret, but i would rather be called tea. thumbsup emoji

Talk to me about a recent (or not-so-recent) obsession: LOL LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT OOFURI i'm gonna write out a 24 page comic for it (i do not write 20page comics, i am shit at comics, but i'm doing it anyway) i am sunk into the deepest pits of oofuri hell. rip in fucking pieces, me. also i feel the need to tack on my interest in video games (OFF, twewy, undertale, fire emblem, KH, FF, dragon age, etc etc)

ehehe, these are peking raviolis!! they're at most american chinese restaurants, we get them every time we order chinese and i will love them forever. they may call them other things at other places though?? sometimes they're just listed as fried dumplings, but that can apply to a lot of different styles of meat-wrapped-in-a-grain-of-some-sort type food, which is why i call them peking raviolis.

LAUGHS fma and httyd are both so important to me that i often forget to list them?? like they're so central to my creative being that i have osmosis'd them and forget that it's not obvious by looking at me and talking to me for point five seconds that i'm absolutely in love with them, haha. they are a part of my soul (the way they animated the characters in httyd. how they used the VAs' mannerisms to give the characters life. I WILL NEVER BE OVER IT) i have only watched a couple of the tv shorts, i keep meaning to go watch the rest! i have read a couple of the books, though, they're sO funny.

ROARS AT YOUR VIDEO GAMES LIST!!! oh my god twewy is legitimately the best game in my life, my existence, even the lovingly cheesy crossover into KH, i love it

YELLS WITH YOU!!!! i wish more games were put together like twewy was, the transitions and story and battle system and art style were all so fluid and beautiful and a really nice mix of do-able and challenging? i will forever be in love with that game AND THE MUSIC HOPY SHITTASTIC FRICKBALLS! i love the music a lot

OH MY GOD!! OH MY GOD!!!! yes i totally agree!! twewy had SO MUCH STYLE and it just carried the whole youth/teenager/fashion trend across the whole game so well and so consistently, and backed it all up with an amazing soundtrack?? fricking gAME GOALS!! this is one of the (admittedly few) games i enthuastically gunned for 100% completion for, and would do it again, because it's so well put together and so enjoyable to play.

mmmm!!! the 3ds one is pretty fun as a game but aside from the story it um, didn't pull me in as much...BUT YES, CHEERS YOU ON FOR FINISHING BEFORE KH3!! (which, kh3, finally we have news oh my god). have you played the psp one? :O that one's probably my favourite of the series in terms of the battle system and also the monopoly minigame

PLEASE PLAY OFF!!! it is a smol indie rpgmaker game, made by mortis ghost, and translated..... err i guess a while ago now. the translation is sUPER good and it's got some creepy horror elements (not jump scare, more psychological type horror) but it's sO GOOD and well put together.

is the PSP one the...... err, the one with Ventus, Aqua, and Terra? BECAUSE YES I PLAYED THAT ONE AND I LOVED IT A LOT the monopoly minigame was super cute and the story was great and AQUA????? JUST. AQUA that one definitely sucked me in a lot, i played through all three characters sO fast, even with the repeating worlds. but the way they added different areas for each character was super neat and kept it interesting! and the piecing together of the story was nifty, even tho it was up to KH's usual standards of Needlessly Confusing lmfao

god twewy is a work of art tho. forever sad they didn't do some kind of sequal/spiritual successor (same world and premise, but with new characters maybe? i'd play the shit outta that) i also had an extreme love for Beat that i don't understand to this day. he is not the usual type of character i adore. but i love him. i lo v e h i M and all.... the math puns........ made me so happy

Y ES THE TRAGEDY TRIO!! ar g hhhh aqua completely stole my heart in that game, both with her awesome as heck spells and her whole storyline :((( and yes!! that was one thing i really liked about the psp one - keeping something new to explore even when you were visiting the same worlds as each character! even going as far as shrinking ventus down to mouse size in Cinderella's world, what a masterpiece hehhh

i would totally, definitely, absolutely 100% buy and play the shit out of a twewy sequel oh man. there was an entire period of time where the dock items on my laptop were replaced with these colourful icons that had different twewy quotes on them, with no other identifying, so i'd have "SO ZETTA SLOW" for my computer, "SOH-CAH-TOA" for microsoft word and etc. it was a wild, wild time

AhhhhHHH Skip Beat! I love that show!!!!! It's hard to find fans of the shows and the only other fan I know is my sister lmao. And yes, shoujo is a very good genre. I'm reading this manga rn called High School Debut and it's literally the cutest thing on earth ahh

oh gosh yeah, Skip Beat was one of the shoujo series that has really stayed with me!! i read a lot back in highschool but my friend and i were both super into SB! because of how un-shoujo-protagonist she was? like she was so nOT A PURE INNOCENT SPARKLE FAIRY except she totally was underneath the spite and abuse from her asshole ex, lmfao. but her gradual transition from vengeance to really wanting to act for herself i thought was sUCH AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE and also the fact that her acting was never devalued because of her early motives?? like she always put her effort into it and she got better once she was more at peace with herself but she was still treated as a legitimate actress by everyone but Sho and i just. IT'S SUCH A GOOD SERIES!!!!

high school debut sounds sO FAMILIAR oh wow after googling yes, i definitely read part of that one way back when! i think it was still ongoing when i dropped off of following most of the series i was into Because College, but yes, it was also very good. shoujo is just. good for the soul sometimes =u=

Yes yes yes!!!!! I adored the protag because she was just...so...normal? I guess? And her entire story line is such an excellent example for young girls and tbh, her entire demeanor and development has greatly impacted me?? And how I am?? Which I think is excellent because just! While the series is amusing and enjoyable it also kinda teaches you a lesson???? Idk, basically I love and agree with everything you said.

And oohh, you should def pick up High School Debut if you have time!!! I have 2 volumes remaining to buy so I still haven't finished it (if I buy a manga I refuse to read the scantalations lol) but yes, it is a good series <3

oh man i used to buy all my manga when i was a smol but alas, i cannot afford them anymore :c i try to watch what i can and not read too many scanlations, or get them from the library when theyre available.... but $10 is just so much for a single volume, that i usually read in 45min or less? it's tough to justify it sometimes. i've been reading more webcomics lately and most of my spare money has gone to supporting things like that c':

Ahh no I feel you on the money part. I don't buy mangas unless I really love them...because $10-12 is something I cannot afford all the time unless I have a gift card or something. I usually get my books/manga off of thriftbooks so now buying stuff doesn't really drain my resources lmao. And ooohhh what webcomics? I'm always looking for new ones to read!

ACTUALLY REMEMBER skip beat was one of those series where i was keeping up with the translated volumes until college happened?? and i dropped sO many series that i just haven't picked back up since, because time. i think i was pretty freakin' far? she'd found out that the dude was the same guy from her childhood, fINALLY, after eighty million years... but idk how long the story kept going after that. i should def go back and finish it!
