RANDOM QUESTION TIME...
What does your screen name mean? When I first started writing online, I used the pen name "Hapax Legomenon", and I've kept it over the years. So, Pax is just a shortened version of that.
Which fictional world would you want to be in, and why? Oh heck. Uh. Recently been reading the Temeraire series, and I love the female captains in the aerial corps. I'd like a Longwing, myself. But also -- Digimon! Pokemon! Any of the 'mons!
Tell us your fandom origin story: The thing that launched me into my "anime phase" was actually Attack on Titan. And then I started watching Free! when some of my online friends did, and that sure was a gateway drug to sports anime.
What is the weirdest thing you have ever eaten? Not exactly the weirdest ever, but I went grocery shopping this afternoon to buy chicken liver and I couldn't find it. I love chicken liver.
Would you rather always be cold or always be hot? I live in Canada and it is January and my apartment is not well insulated. Hot,
If you could have any kind of pet, what would you have? I want... a dragon...
Talk to me about a recent (or not-so-recent) obsession: I just adopted my fifth rat yesterday. And I'm known both online and irl as being "the lobster girl."

Okay so you know how at grocery stores and the like, all the lobsters have their claws rubber-banded shut? That's partly for the protection of staff, I imagine, but it's also because lobsters are super aggressive and will literally rip each other to pieces if they're put in high-density confined spaces like that with minimal topography. My exhibit isn't nearly as bad as a seafood counter tank, but it's still a small space with a limited number of hidey holes. So, to keep them from killing each other, we close their claws, but we use glue rather than elastic bands because it's a little less visually obtrusive. Sometimes, though, the glue breaks, so we have to pull them off exhibit, re-glue the claw, tape it shut, and keep them in a holding tank for a few days until the glue cures. Ergo - timeout to keep them from killing each other.

Both of my ImaNaru lobsters broke open their claws last week, because I swear to god these two actually can't do anything without the other one copying. It's bizarre. They even moulted at the same time.

Nary is missing the tip of his right claw because somehow Ima cut it off even though Ima was smaller and softer? Idk man.
