Characters/Pairings/Moresomes: Hinata is my favourite HQ character, though I love almost all the other characters equal second! I adore the Seijou third years when they are together but more as a platonic group?? Or as two pairings if that makes sense lmao idk ;A; I also love Datekou!!! Pairings I love: Matsukawa/Hanamaki, Iwaizumi/Oikawa, Ennoshita/Futakuchi, Kuroo/Daichi, Iwaizumi/Kiyoko, Kiyoko/Yachi, Oikawa/Daichi

Likes: I'm pretty open to a lot of things, but I guess in particular: team bonding shenanigans, banter(!!), coffee shop AUs, flower/plant AUs, mundane magic AUs, characters finding home in each other, reunions, light angst but only with happy endings, inverted tropes and stereotypes (eg. Oikawa being good at cooking!!!)

Dislikes: oh........ character death, not that great with nsfw unfortunately (light implied stuff is okay though?!), a/b/o, Oikawa portrayed as being overly whiny and screechy, too much of Matsukawa and Hanamaki involved with western memes (sorry, I just got a little too tired of that in fics ;__;)

"Why," Issei wonders aloud, "do you never look at me like I personally hung the moon? The way Iwaizumi looks at Oikawa? Just once. That's all I'm asking."

"Hm." Takahiro doesn't sound the least bit interested, focusing on the shooting star he's building in his hands, intent on getting the sparkle of it just right. "That's probably because Oikawa does personally hang the moon, every single night—"

"—Except for the new moon nights," Issei points out, well aware of the fact that he sounds petulant, but he doesn't do a thing to change this fact.

"Almost every single night," Takahiro amends smoothly, refusing to rise to Issei's bait. "It's kind of a big deal."

"You know how bright the sky is during the day?" Issei asks, a little offended. "Do you know how much work it takes to make it go dark? I'll paint the prettiest colours across the sky for dusk and people still mutter and grumble about night falling. No gratitude from them, no gratitude from you either. The things I do to make you shine."

"Yes, yes, you're very important," Takahiro intones, leaning over and kissing Issei's cheek. "Good job on the giant void you've spread above everyone. Very dark. Endless. Beautiful."

"You're just humouring me," Issei mutters, trying and failing to hide the fact that he's pleased anyway.

"It worked," Takahiro smiles, never one to let him get away with this sort of thing. "On a more serious note, nobody would even see my stars if you didn't dim the lights first. I appreciate it."

"Dim the lights," Issei repeats, pretending to be offended at having it put so simply. As if he wasn't the first person to put it in those words. He kisses Takahiro anyway. "I guess you're welcome. You'd better show your gratitude in the form a particularly bright star, or something."

"Or something," Takahiro repeats, sounding bored. It's enough to throw Issei off.

Takahiro does something even better. He rearranges his favourite stars to create a temporary constellation, spelling the kanji of Issei's name, before then winking out, spelling Takahiro's name, and then returning to their usual configuration.

"We're together in the sky," Takahiro says, shoulder to shoulder with Issei.

"Here I thought you weren't one for grand gestures," Issei sniffs, wiping away a fake tear just in case he later has to hide a very real one.

"I don't look at you like you hung the moon," Takahiro tells him. "I never will. I'm too busy looking at you like you painted the night."
