That gives Otabek pause. He presses a kiss to Yuri's collar bone and speaks against his skin. "It must have been an incredibly distracting thought."

Yuri laughs weakly. "You have no idea."

"Will you tell me what it was?" Otabek asks, but he must already know the answer to that, because he props himself up on all fours above Yuri, pressing him into the mattress, and kisses along his jaw. "…I was jealous. I'm sorry."

With a quiet sigh, Yuri takes Otabek's face into both of his hands. "I'm in love with you. There. That's what distracted me."

Otabek blinks at him, then slowly turns red. "Oh."

"So," Yuri gestures at his lower half, then pauses when he notices. "…Oh. You too."

"I'm in love with you too," Otabek nods.

"I meant you lost your—" Yuri pauses. "Huh?"

"You're right," Otabek murmurs, "it is a little distracting. Now that I'm thinking about it, I can't think about anything else."

"We're not going to get anywhere like this," Yuri snorts, stroking his fingers across Otabek's cheek.

"Luckily for us, we have time," Otabek replies. He pulls Yuri into a kiss. "Until then, we can just…"

"Yeah," Yuri agrees, wrapping his arms around Otabek's shoulders, content to lie there with him. "You're right."
