Literally closeted KageHinga for your enjoyment. ♥ Hopefully comic! Have a good V-Day!

The storage closet where they kept the volleyballs would not have been described as roomy even before two volleyball players were shoved in it. At the very least, their teammates hadn’t done it to them while the volleyballs were still in the closet?

Such a small mercy would not save said teammates from the wrath of the two boys currently struggling to stand upright in the small space.

“Get your elbow out—“

“Move your big feet—“

“Ew that’s your armpit in my—“

“STOP MOVING!” Both of them finally shouted in exasperation.

“Stay still! I’m smaller, I can move around more easily in this tiny space,” Hinata huffed, tangled around Kageyama so thoroughly that he had one arm twisted over Kageyama’s, a leg around Kageyama’s hip and he was almost upside down. When their teammates had shoved them in, they hadn’t given them time to right themselves before slamming the door shut and the result had been an epic struggle in the near-complete darkness of the closet.

Carefully, limb by limb, Hinata managed to work himself free and drop to the floor.

That meant he dropped on top of Kageyama’s feet, earning himself a curse from the other, but who cared?

Apart from Kageyama, obviously. Despite the darkness of the closet, Hinata could feel Kageyama glaring at him.

“This,” Kageyama pronounced with the gravity of a judge passing sentence, “Is all your fault.”

He then ruined the effect by adding, “Dumbass.”

Hinata gaped up at him for a second, then scrambled to his feet and protested, “My fault?! It takes two people to be ‘out of sync’. And you’re the one who’s been sulking all week!”

“I haven’t been sulking,” Kageyama said sulkily.

“You’re sulking right now!” Hinata glared at the absolute darkness where he knew Kageyama was (unless there was a third person in the closet and it was their hip against his, no, it was definitely Kageyama, he knew those hips, they were like scissorblades). “What are you even so upset about?”

“Your lack of commitment to the team. Karasuno needs your full attention—“ Kageyama started to say before Hinata interrupted indignantly.

“What? What lack of commitment? I’ve been at every practice, I stay late practicing, I run laps with you before school-“ He couldn’t believe this. Sure, Kageyama might be a fanatic but he’d never complained about lack of effort from Hinata.
“Now you do,” Kageyama agreed. “But in the future, you’ll skip practice for dates and be distracted thinking about your girlfriend.”

“What--” Had he fallen into some parallel universe? It was either that or Kageyama had gone crazy and Hinata preferred the parallel universe theory. “I’m not going to skip practice. I don’t even have a girlfriend.”

The closet felt as if it had suddenly shrunk several sizes as Kageyama said flatly, “What about that blond first year that confessed to you?”

“…I rejected her,” Hinata said after a startled second. He hadn’t known anyone had seen that! “And that was private, what were you even doing watching me?”

“You were smiling. You wouldn’t smile if you were rejecting someone,” Kageyama insisted as he completely ignored Hinata’s question.

“I was smiling because it was the first time anyone had confessed to me!” Hinata said hotly, shoving in the general direction that he thought Kageyama was. “And why were you watching?!”

“I like you.”

Moments later, the closet doors shook as a loud, “WHAT?!” echoed through the gym.

YOI: otayuri, sharing a bed

The bed in the hotel room is a plush, queen-sized deal with tasteful sea foam green bedding, and Yuri is horrified.

"Those morons who made the reservation must have messed it up, fuck," he says, dropping the handle of his suitcase so that it hits the carpeted floor with a dull thud and sitting heavily on the offending bed to call reception. He's slamming the phone back on the hook in frustration mere minutes later.

"They can move us tomorrow, but they're fully booked tonight," he grouses.

Otabek just gives him a thumbs up from the bathroom, where he's already brushing his teeth. He doesn't seem particularly bothered by this turn of events, which makes Yuri even more bothered by it than he already is. Otabek isn't one to get angry unless it's a world-ending catastrophe, but to not be annoyed at all? Fuck, what if he thinks that Yuri was the one who messed this up, or worse, that he orchestrated it on purpose?

He doesn't notice that he's glaring down at the bedspread with clenched fists like it just insulted his fashion sense until Otabek flips the covers from the other side of the bed so that he can get into it.

"It's a big bed, Yura," he says with a shrug. And then the corner of his mouth quirks up the tiniest bit. "Or do you kick in your sleep? In that case you can sleep on the floor."

"Asshole!" Yuri lets out a surprised laugh and throws a pillow at him. With the tension broken, he changes, gets into the other side of the bed and switches off the light.

But laying there in the dark, listening to Otabek's steady breathing next to him, he can't sleep.

He's crowded onto the edge of the bed as far away from Otabek as is comfortable, but Otabek's presence still weighs heavy on him, every one of his movements impossible to ignore.

Yuri is considering giving up on sleep for the moment and digging out his phone for something to do as a distraction, but then Otabek sighs, reaches out, and pulls Yuri across the short distance between them.

Yuri makes an indignant noise as Otabek curls into him, resting his head on his chest and casually slinging an arm over him like it's the most natural thing in the world. He's about to protest, but then Otabek cracks open a single, sleepy eye to look at him.

"We'll talk about it tomorrow," he says with a yawn, referring, Yuri assumes, to how he'd decided to act on this unspoken thing between them out of the blue by fucking cuddling with him. "Now let's just go to sleep."

Yuri kind of wants to kick him, both because of how presumptuous he's being, but also to take out his irritation at how easy of a read Yuri himself must have been. He compromises by curling his fingers in Otabek's hair a little tighter than necessary when he runs his hands through it, carding through the strands and stroking over the soft bristle of his undercut like he'd wanted to for a long time.

"Okay, fine. Let's sleep," he says. They both drift off in a matter of minutes.
