Merlin is one of those shows that would amuse you but slowly break your heart as you continue on. Just like Gintama does >:

i feel like their objective in the finale was to break as many souls as possible. i spent one month reading fix-it or reunion in the future fic just to feel 15% happier again

I HAVE YET TO DO GINTAMA, i've been told it's great consistently but it's just so lenghty it implies commitment i'm afraid of giving lmao

I was PISSED when the finale came out. I mean they could've done so much much more with the finale but I know they were cancelled...so yeah :c

And Gintama is wonderful!!! I actually kinda stopped because I was using crunchyroll to watch it but when crunchyroll refused to stop fucking up on me...I just stopped...lmao but!! from what I've watched, I love it!

I WAS JUST SO SAD i mean i know they tried to end it in the most heart-breaking note just because they weren't going to get another season (and ultimately it paid off! i think it's one of the most emotional finales i've ever watched) i just wish they hadn't wasted so much time with other stuff (i suppose they just believed they'd keep getting seasons) instead of focusing in what everyone wanted which was, you know, arthur and merlin and their proper kingdom and such.

horriblesubs has uploaded batches for gintama eps, it's probably a ridiculous amount of space but at least there's that option!!! that's what i'm planning to download if i ever do the thing lmao (i mean. i will. eventually. but yeah)

YEAH I KNOW but stiLL I could have done with less heart break. And it really sucked that they got cancelled, I'm not really sure why that happened tbh...

i feel like they couldn't end it on a comedy note just bc arthur's feelings re: magic and such were very complicated and since they didn't have time to deal with it properly in a lenghty way it was easier to take that road instead. i'm pretty sure they were losing viewers and the bbc was looking to reduce programming (they're shutting down one of their channels that was meant for young audiences, even)
