RIGHT that's why i watch the first eps cuz i've learned you can't trust anime summaries, they often abbreviate stuff in such ways it makes it sound boring or underwhelming but it ends up being completely different visually. AND YEAH it's not just 2d animation, but it looks so great?? THE WEAPONS LOOK SO ACE. especially that girl with the tiny white/pink bubuki. I FEEL LIKE IT'S GONNA GET SO SAD AND DESTROY ME BUT??? WORTH??

YEAH YOU'RE RIGHT!! I've seen so many series with shit summaries but turn our amazing so watching everything turns to work out well in the end haha

AND YEAH OMG FROM THE FIRST FEW MINUTES I was like man this is gonna be sad and fucking emotional isn't it and I'm already sad ((´д｀))

awesome I think it works really well the way it's animated like it's really smooth thankfully it's not like a mess, I've seen some series go wrong with the mixed animation but this looks so promising!!

right and it's not like its exactly time-consuming cuz eps are barely 20 mins and you can tell just from 2 or 3 if it's smth you're gonna like or not (esp re: animation which is at least 60% interest wise for me), and usually when it looks bad i skip to see if it gets better (usually if i'm skipping it doesn't lmao)

I KNOW LIKE I KNEW THE KID JUST WANTED TO HELP HER MOM BUT COME ON u basically apparently started the apocalypse (also?? where is she???)

and yeah i know what you mean most of the time i hate it when it's mixed animation or plain 3d (it's why i'm scared with ajin i love it the manga but... still...) but in this one it just looks soooooo great, they've figured out a nice balance. the action looks particularly kick-ass!!!
