when i was 11 or so an irl friend of mine suggested i join a neopets guild for other harry potter fans, so i did. about a year later it was a warrior cats roleplay guild. one thing led to another until i found myself on a bigger roleplay site and eventually my interest took me back to harry potter roleplay and a friend THERE was like "you should join tumblr!" so even though i'd been writing fic/roleplaying for awhile that was probably when i first started realizing what fandom really meant?

it's a weird journey.
